Hiruline Corporation unites several organizations and collaborative groups. All of them are working on development of modern technologies for medicinal leech usage.

The understanding of natural medicine’s unique qualities forms the theoretical basis of this work. The corporation includes a clinic, a scientific research lab, a farm, and a factory which cultivates medicinal leeches.

This unique organization was created with the active participation of the Kamenev medical dynasty.

    Yuri Kamenev – a talented doctor, scientist and educator – had understood the limitations of the pharmaceutical approach to medicine in the very beginning of his career. He devoted himself to the research of natural medicine’s endless possibilities, and taught the art of distinguishing the body’s struggle against illness behind peripheral symptoms. To his followers, especially to his children, he bequeathed to restore natural remedies’ deserved place in modern medicine.
    Ludmila Kameneva had continued to develop and build on his ideas. She cultivates and breeds medicinal leeches, heads a pharmaceutical production company and a natural farm.
    A separate division of the corporation deals with the development and production of cosmetics which utilizes medicine leeches. This sector is supervised by Elena Kameneva.
  Oleg Kamenev, the president of the corporation, works on creating a scientific foundation for hirudotherapy, enhancing both theory and practice of this treatment method. For over 10 years he had educated doctors, and he is the also the author of two theses on the subject. He is involved in research in the field of ecology, biology and behavior of the medicinal leech.

Research in the theory of aging, as well as the technology of extraction and utilization of the natural medicinal leech complexes for rejuvenation is of utmost interest. The possibilities of this direction of research are truly infinite and are not widely known in modern Western medicine.

   Igor Kamenev, Oleg’s brother, also works in the field of natural medicine. He is the head of a company that produces herbal remedies and biologically active components.
